Manuel Bronze
"The Buck Stops Here"
2007 "Pass The Buck" is the biggest small piece David has ever sculpted. Big in attitude, yet small in size. A bear and cougar in confrontation over dinner?? Yes, we do have a few of these available at $3,450. You will want to call soon, the clay is complete and the bronze production will increase the price.
"Sundown Rider"
David's hands are in the clay on this one. 2008 "Sundown Rider" is a 1916 rodeo winner...Native American on a bucking horse, very unique in history as well as subject and size. Such detail, wooly chaps, braids, and other Indian/Rodeo regalia. An edition of 100, 40 are already spoken for. DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS ONE. Bring your camera and come visit David's studio.

Foundry Production is More Organized
Hot Lake Bronze has and is continuing to make many changes. Our goal is to improve and perfect production time while maintaining "Manuel Quality." For the first time ever, all bronzes on the shipping list are in metal production. We appreciate the support and patience you have demonstrated during this process.

Pools and Tubs
What about soaking tubs? The bad news is the old pool could not be saved and is now covered with beautiful landscape. The good news is the first of the soaking tubs are now under construction and more are coming.

Hot Lake Springs Resident Artists
Ann Yoder
"A Song for Spring," the title of Ann's new Spring Fling painting to be on display at the upcoming show best describes the creativity from her studio. The snow has recently melted revealing spring's anticpated color and the return of a variety of birds outside Ann's studio window; both of which will be a strong influence in this season's paintings. She is excited to display this new group of watercolors that she believes you will find fresh and inspirational.
Larry Braden Manuel
We can't wait to see what Larry is going to surprise us with in 2008. Those wonderful frogs take you back to childhood times. His "2x2" is absolutely incredible in bronze. With an edition of 49, there are still a few available. If you missed out on Larry's artwork in 2007, you will want to stay alert in 2008 because it goes fast.

Remember***Remember
Departments still under restoration, such as Museum, B&B, Restaurant, Spa, etc., will be complete and opening at the same time.

Windy, Windy Winter
Wind damage forced us to make some quick decisions on the museum portion of the project. Change is always a little uncomfortable, but this change is proving to be great. Perhaps this new plan was meant "to be." The wind also added an extra layer of dirt and debris inside and out. Revamping the Gift Shop was a must. We can't wait for you to "check out" the new paint and new items.

Spring Fling 2008
Spring Fling -- April 26th, 2008
In 2007, we experimented with a treasure hunt and silent auction event. We had so much fun...to repeat is a must. Here is how it works. You bring an item for the auction. A handmade doll, cherry pie, bronze, Chanel #5, and even a gold watch were all a part of the 2007 event. "Anything goes," and your auction item acts as your admission to the event. Something new this year is wine tasting.
